Abstract
The process of reducing costs of the enterprise for production and sales of finished products by identifying skrytymi explicit costs as a result of the metrological examination. It is revealed that there are a number of hidden costs to exclude only as a result of the metrological examination. The economic effect of the examination is calculated mainly by the ratio of the number of some tools used to conduct metrological expertise and the amount of money that has been saved as a result of the corrections discovered in the course of the examination errors.
