CLUSTERING ALGORITHM, IMPROVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION FOR DISASTER MANAGEMENT

Abstract—the wireless sensor networks have recently become in the interest of scientific research due to its variety of applications in diverse areas where the energy efficiency and the network lifetime are the major concerns for scientists. Clustering in wireless sensor networks is an effective way to optimize the network services, by structuring the network. Its purpose is to identify a subassembly of nodes in the network and assign a leader. In this paper, we introduce improvements on a clustering algorithm then will present the evaluation of performance of our network.
