PREFERENCE TOWARDS MOBILE WALLETS AMONG URBAN POPULATION OF JALGAON CITY

Abstract
M-wallets have emerged as the most significant contributor in pushing cashless and electronic payments. The surge of smartphones and internet connectivity of 3G and 4G is reflected in the robust growth of Mobile-wallets in India. The present study is focused on preference towards mobile wallets among the urban population of Jalgaon city and effectively analyzed the impact of demographic variables on the usage of Mobile wallets. A total of 60 respondents were analyzed from the urban area of Jalgaon city and their responses were analyzed. Chi-square and T test was used to analyse the data. This study will help in devising appropriate strategies for Mobile wallet companies to tap the potential customers.
