PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA HANDOUT SEGITIGA DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION

This study aims to describe the process and results of triangle handouts with valid, practical and effective PBI models. The research process of developing this handout media using 4D development model consists of: (1) defining phase, (2) design stage, (3) development stage and (4) distribution stage. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the test phase in class VII Budi Sejati Junior High School Surabaya and the spreading stage at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surabaya academic year 2015-2016. The result of the research is descriptive quantitative data that is, (1) handout is declared eligible to be used with the acquisition value of three validator 3.21 which means valid, (2) handout is declared practical with category worthy use with little revision and implementation of learning obtained by trial 3 , 24 which means very good and ditahap spread obtained 2.29 which means good, and (3) handout declared effective with positive learners response and result of learning classical completeness obtained 88,2% In spreading stage obtained classical completeness equal to 91,17 %.
