MIXED ELECTORAL SYSTEM AS AN ELEMENT OF PERCEPTION OF THE LEGITIMACY OF GOVERNMENT BODIES

The article analyzes the existing theoretical approaches to determining the legitimacy of authority and the allocation of its varieties. A mixed electoral system is seen as a mechanism of electoral legitimacy, as well as a factor in the perception of the internal and external legitimacy of public authorities.
