About some ways of forming of the meaning ‘to ask for’ in the Latin and Roman languages

Abstract
The article notes the importance of diachronic researches in the linguistics, proposes to continue semantic universals search in order to create the completed theory within the evidence-based semasiology. The article also considers forming of semantic structure of some Latin and Roman verbs with the meaning ‘to ask for', it illustrates polysemanticism of the verbs of this semantics and their being part of both lexico-semantic group of speech and action on examples of the Latin authors' texts. The article reconstructs genetic relations between the verbs of action and movement and the verbs with the meaning ‘to ask for'
