This explains the special interest in national names in the Turkic and mongolian regions of the Russian Federation. The republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Republic of Tatarstan, the republic of Bashkortostan, Buryatia, Kalmykia, and the Altai territory have been experiencing an increase in the national self-awareness of the people in recent decades, and the need for a society in the national anthroponymic society is growing.
