Abstract
This article considers the current state of the market of catering services in Ufa, namely, the competitive environment of the public catering enterprise LLC "Group of companies" Pyshka "was studied. The article is devoted to the urgent problem for today - development and increase of competitiveness of public catering establishments. As a result of the article, the main conclusions were drawn: knowing the consumers and competitors, food enterprises can determine their advantages and disadvantages to competitors, as a result, food enterprises can develop successful competitive strategies and support competitive advantages.
