Abstract
Pure Red Cell Aplasia (PRCA) is a rare cause for anemia. Most of the cases of PRCA in adults are idiopathic, while in children they could either be congenital or acquired. Of the acquired causes in children, infection by Human Parvo Virus B19 is a common cause. We report a rare case of PRCA that occurred in an elderly male which was proved to be caused by Human Parvo Virus B19.
