RESEARCH OF THE DEMAND FOR ORTHODOX TOURISM AMONG THE YOUTH OF THE PENZA REGION

Orthodox tourism today is an integral part of the modern tourism industry. It plays an important role in both international and domestic tourism in Russia. Christianity is not only worship saints. This is our history, traditional culture, monuments world heritage. In Russia and around the world a lot of great Orthodox shrines (temples, monasteries), where every day there come tourists (including pilgrims) to pray at the Holy places. The article describes and analyses the prevalence and peculiarities of Orthodox tourism among the youth in the Penza region. The possibility of the Penza region in the specified direction are great, but implemented very poorly, so it is necessary to develop a complex of measures aimed at the development of the Orthodox tourism, correlated with the real economic and social conditions in the region
