Abstract
Based on the studies performed, sintering technologies of a wide range of nanostructured composite materials under conditions of high pressures and temperatures for tool purposes have been developed using micro-, submicro- and nanostructured powders of cBN and nanopowders of refractory compounds. The chemical modification processes of micro-, nano- and ultradispersed powders of dense (wurtzite and cubic) BN phases have been developed. The composite and polycrystalline superhard materials based on cBN with highly dispersed structure and a minimal amount of binding and activating additives have been obtained according to the new technological processes of sintering and synthesis under conditions of high pressures and temperatures.
