Abstract
The article discusses the need for training students of economic specialties of higher educational institutions mathematical modeling as a means to achieving professional-directed teaching mathematics. It has been specified that mathematical modeling in the learning process is an important tool: the formation of new knowledge and creative abilities of students; effective learning new material, organizing and implementation of visual knowledge; understanding and fixing material properties and relationships of the objects and phenomena; formation of professional skills; development of independent students. The basic stages that can be identified in the process of mathematical modeling. The attention that is modeling economic situations will approximate future economists to their professional activities. The essence of the mathematical model has been disclosed. Mathematical model to become an effective tool for the study of economic processes, first must meet the following requirements: be based on economic theory and reflect objective laws of processes; play function properly and (or) the actual structure of the economic system; meet certain mathematical conditions (mother solution, agreeing dimensions, etc.). The basic types of mathematical models and simulations have been listed that can be used by the teacher. The authors have highlighted the role and place of professional orientation of teaching mathematics in the system of professional education of future economists, namely stressed that professional orientation is a critical component of learning in higher education and in the pedagogical process performs the following functions: makes an overall stimulating effect on the individual learning activities; is an important internal condition of the individual, due to its ability to paint activities with positive emotions; positive impact on the quality of knowledge and skills of students in depth and effectiveness, durability and stability first; regulates the flow of thought processes and promotes intellectual development of the individual; encourages independent research and creative activity, to use more sophisticated methods of solving practical problems. It has been proved that purposeful training of mathematical modeling will not only create a whole system of mathematical knowledge of students, but also provide its professional orientation, which provides the display in the content studied mathematics disciplines professionally significant for the future economics of educational material. Only systematic application of mathematical modeling will provide positive dynamics of formation of knowledge, skills, and increase their economic thinking.
