CRITERIA−LEVEL BASED APPROACH TO THE FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL AND ETHICAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE MANAGERS

Abstract
The results of the study, according to which the formation of professional and ethical competence of students is the need of society, because economic necessity demands now managers of a new type: erudite, capable of independent thinking, the critical assertions and ready to ethically appropriate behavior in situations of moral choice. During the research the criteria, indicators and levels of professional and ethical competence of future economic profile manager were identified. Analysis of educational literature on criteria for moral upbringing and formation of different types of competence, taking into account the features and components of the PEC of the future managers allowed to identify the criteria for formation of professional and ethical competence of managers: 1) motivational and evaluative − describing the value system that motivates professional ethical behavior; 2) cognitive − characterizing the integrity of knowledge about the ethical basis of professional activity; 3) functional − characterizing the readiness for professional activities according to ethical principles; 4) reflective - characterizing the ability to assess their own ethical conduct. The article singled out three levels of professional and ethical competence of future manager: high, medium and low. Stated material allows to draw conclusions: the selection of criteria, indicators and levels of professional and ethical competence is highly important for determining pedagogical conditions of formation of the process and an ethical competence of students in their studying. These criteria allow you to make teaching forecast of ethical competence and main lines of work. Lecturers using the above criteria and indicators will determine the level of development of students' motivation (the level of moral ideals and moral upbringing); knowledge of ethical regulations; the attitude to their duty to study; the development of skills and habits of ethical behaviour.
