Abstract
The purpose of the work is, to analyze Unidirectional Glass Fiber/Epoxy mono composite leaf spring, for replacing the steel leaf spring by fiberglass composite leaf spring in automotives, by decreasing the weight and increasing the strength. A mono composite leaf spring with varying thickness, varying width design was analyzed for static linear and modal analysis. The FEA results showing stresses, deflections and natural frequency were verified with previous experimental results.
