Abstract

The paper proves the advisability to apply interdisciplinary and interdepartmental approaches in health care to enhance the quality of medical services, preserve labour potential of population and improve resourcing of the sector. The authors suggest a model for obtaining a synergistic effect in the health care system on the basis of interdisciplinary and interdepartmental interaction of specialists with different competences and from different divisions, government authorities and public organisations. The findings confirm the possibility of medical, social, economic effects when using interdisciplinary and interdepartmental approaches at the example of health care organisations of Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk oblast. Finally, the authors propose a set of measures for using a model for obtaining a synergistic effect in the health care system.
