Abstract

Introduction. The current educational system is the key to dynamic development of economy and society, one of the most important growth factors of human capital. Ukrainian higher education should be upgrade to current global trends in the global socio-economic space to be really effective and competitive in the international market.Purpose. The purpose is to analysis a problem of teaching specialists of hotel and restaurant service in the conditions of globalization. Results. Accentuated the need for enterprises of hotel and restaurant service of qualified specialists with a high level of professional competence and the need to reform the current system of education with regard to the competence approach, labor market needs, market mechanisms of economy, international standards, total globalization and other time requirements. The development of information technology require that the education system should be flexible to changes. Originality. The main problems of training junior specialist of hotel restaurant service are thoroughly analysed; Approaches to the requirements of researchers hotel restaurant service in dependence of the efficiency of enterprises "hospitality" of professional staff.are systematized. Conclusion. Imperfection and irrelevant curriculum for training of junior specialist of hotel restaurant service needs urgent changes to the level of international requirements and standards, ensuring readiness of graduates to work in a global economy. Program "double degree" distorts the scope and content of education. The current system of training young professionals of hotel and restaurant service should be implemented taking into account global trends in the development of proactive education needs. Ukraine needs to implement real distance education technology, e-learning. Need more focus on practical training of specialists of the hotel and restaurant profile, reduce hours of theoretical hours, with appropriate use of distance and blending learning.
