PHENOMENON OF ALEXANDER ZAKHARENKO: CURRENT CONTEXT

Abstract

Introduction. O.A. Zakharenko's theoretical and practical works to resolve many instructional and educational issues are invaluable, as they provide tolerant schoolboy ready for cooperation and development of abilities of each child in creative activities. The teacher and humanist created his own author school, which was the subject of research for scientists, educators and practitioners. Purpose is to highlight O.A. Zakharenko's phenomenon in the current context, use of his pedagogical legacy in the modernization of the national education system, improvement of educational management based on national internal, external pan-European trends and tendencies. Methods. Such methods of research were used. Theoretical: analysis and synthesis of O.A. Zakharenko's philosophical, psychological and pedagogical works. Empirical: study and analysis of educational documents of O.A. Zakharenko's author school. Results. A significant contribution to the development of national educational thought of XX – XXI centuries made an outstanding public figure, scientist, one of fifteen academics – founders of Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, People's Teacher, director of the village school (1966 – 2002) (village Sakhnivka Korsun-Shevchenko district Cherkasy region), which during the life of the teacher received the status and name of "author Olexander Antonovych Zakharenko secondary school of village Sakhnivka. " It is said and written a lot about O.A. Zakharenko's powerful pedagogical exclusive gift, the uniqueness and originality of options for solving many teaching and educational problems, insatiable thirst to do good things and just who is interested in teaching science and practice well knows it. O.A. Zakharenko's innovation and teaching talent is manifested in the fact that working in conditions of general relic and actual level of pedagogical culture, he introduced in one isolated school and persistently proclaimed training and educational program aimed at the future. He materialized that he stated in words: "School is a permanent, independent forward movement, an idea that has certainly capture of three, teacher, schoolboy, parent. If such an idea disappears is and new one is not born there will be grief to the institution, school, state, because it degrades, stops in its development. It is aimlessly to live in it, there is boredom and no progress in it". The principles of his educational system he calls ideas. The idea, which could be called the corner, decisive, simple and brilliantly expressed, understandable to each child's words, is drawn on a wall in the school hall in Sakhnivka: "If you want to change the world, keep its clean beauty, pristine sanctity, start doing it with yourself! Not tomorrow, but today, this minute!". Originality lies in the fact tha heritage of Sakhnivka school – great experience of many years of work of team of teachers and parents, solving problems of family education by means of school activities, which the teacher considered in terms of spiritual revival of not only the family, the school, but village and state is grounded in the work of the creative director. Conclusion. Today, in times of major changes taking place in all spheres of society, the modern Ukrainian education focuses on humanistic component a special significance acquire the experience and opinions of the author of “school of Ros'”. O.A. Zakharenko's achievements urge his followers to reflect on the great mission of the teacher as the person entrusted to shape the soul and to develop the intellect of the young person. Current teachers will find many useful, appealing to O.A. Zakharenko's creative heritage. He enriched the national teaching science with original approach to civil, family and labor education, implemented in practice the idea of school-family, school, whose life is closely intertwined with the life of the child and the life of all rural communities.
