Abstract
In the article, the psychological approach is considered to the problem of distance learning technologies use in work with students, who have the low level of learning activity self-organization. The influence of motivational sphere of students on the level of self-organization of their learning activity has been shown in the paper, as well as the influence of problem situations on the forming of positive motivation in students. Solving of the given problem is one precondition of the effective use of distance learning technologies in the instructional process at a higher school.
Experiential data show the essential increase in the students' learning activity self-organization, motivation included, and in efficiency of traditional forms of instruction due to implementation of distance learning technologies in the instructional process, e.g. use of electronic manuals, E-mail etc.
