Abstract
This experiment was carried out in 2013 and 2014 at Rakowsky and Kabaaşı apricot cultivars located at the Horticultural Experimental Farm of University of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart. Bud drop and concentration of element in drop buds and normal buds in two apricot cultivars were studied. Bud drop was determined as the percentage of bud that dropped in branches. Concentration of element in buds was analyzed. Deficiency of nitrogen in the buds with dropped was determined at two apricot cultivars. Bud drop differed among two apricot cultivars. Rakowsky and Kabaaşı had over 50% bud drop in two years of experiment. In ‘Kabaaşı' cultivar, the heavy bud drops (more than 90%) was recorded.
