Abstract
Addictive behavior prevents addicts convicted last resocialization. The purpose of research - the study of the psychological characteristics of convicted drug addicts, as well as a causal explanation of the phenomenon of addictive behavior. The main methods of research are theoretical analysis of the most modern scientific sources on relevant topics, conduct a survey and analysis of the results obtained using the methods of mathematical statistics. Proved the importance of the main reasons for such anti-social behavior that will help to create the most effective opportunities for its primary prevention, neutralization and elimination.
