Abstract
The binary quadratic Diophantine equation given by ???? 2 − 3???????? + ???? 2 + 12???? = 0 is analyzed for its patterns of non-zero distinct integral solutions. A few interesting relations between the solutions and special polygonal numbers are exhibited.
