Abstract
The article considers the problem of formation an objective assessment of students' knowledge in the discipline of microeconomics. It marks non-standard teachers' failure to comply with requirements in the preparation to the test cases. It assesses the quality of tests, including the following characteristics: validity, differentiating strength and attractiveness of distracters. It generates proposals for the development and analysis of control and certification of educational materials for tests in the discipline "Microeconomics".
