Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of development and the role of motivational and social policy of Russian companies. Social policy is presented as a one of many influencing the motivation factors to staff' work. To make staff work productively it is necessary to use non-material instruments with financial promotion, which will lead to a reduction in staff costs. Therefore, more and more companies adopt and realize a project on social policy, providing personnel with certain guarantees and security. The article analyzes the results of a sociological research devoted to the study of motivational and social policy of the Russian enterprise – open joint-stock company OJSC "Penzadieselmash", also it provides conclusions obtained on the basis of the survey.
