Abstract

The article opens scientific researches of the great teacher, the founder of national pedagogy in Russia ? K.D. Ushinsky. His ideas and aspiration in student teaching are based on ideology of modern Russian school. The contents of the article allow to think of that occurring changes in public life, in the field of education in modern Russia demand deep, comprehensive investigation in the field of methodology, history, theory and practice of pedagogy. Analyzing the activity of K.D. Ushinsky, it is possible to draw a conclusion that the deep judgment of all traditions of domestic pedagogy in the context of today's school is necessary in order to use the national historical experience more productive including transfer to youth of cultural traditions of the people, education of patriotism, humane attitude towards people, responsibility for own acts, valuable relation to family. The main task of the teacher created by Ushinsky, is not so much to learn (to teach), how many to learn to study, is actual. To develop pupil’s desire and ability independently to acquire new knowledge is the main task of the modern teacher.
