Abstract
Analytical (architectural) drawing is considered as a form of development of design thinking of students in the article. The article represents the review of some views and methods of teaching in the Polish higher education institutions, disclaiming the serious generalizations concerning the Polish system of teaching in the architectural and design higher school.
