Abstract
Foreign Direct Investment is the most vital resource for a developing nation. It gives the nation finances, management techniques and technology to develop and grow. There are two ways that a company in India can receive investment from any foreign entity, either directly or by the indirect method depending on the sector of investment. This paper is a representation of the Indian FDI trend using regression and correlation analysis. This paper is written on the basis of various repots by the Department of Industrial Promotion and Policy, Work bank, Reserve Bank of India bulletin and the official government reports.
