Abstract

The research addresses the extent to which the principles of Post-Elementary Education schools practice the skills of educational performance evaluation from the point of view of teachers in Al Dakhlia Region in the Sultanate of Oman according to the variables of the title and kind of job, qualification and experience. To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire is prepared and developed consisting of fifty three paragraphs distributed to three skills which are managerial, technical and humanitarian skills. After manipulating the implications of the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it is distributed to a sample of 88 teachers in 18 Post-Elementary Education schools in Al Dakhlia Region which have been randomly selected. The results of the study are the following: _ The extent to which the principles of Post-Elementary Education schools practice the skills of educational performance evaluation from the point of view of teachers in Al Dakhlia Region in the Sultanate of Oman was significantly and widely used. _There are no differences statistically shown attributed to variable type in all areas in favor of females. _There are some differences statistically shown attributed to the variable of job title and Qualification. _There are some differences statistically shown attributed to the variable of experience in all areas in favor of teachers with less experience (1-5 years).
