Abstract
Abstract The paper reveals the work on classification of brain abnormalities/diseases such as brain tumor and brain hemorrhage. The brain information is retrieved from magnetic resonance (MR) and computer tomography (CT) images for identification of lesions/abnormalities for higher degree and to achieve enhanced accuracy of detection. The proposed approach consists of several phases such as image extraction, image transformation, image progression, image visual analytics and image discernation. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed work comparing the accuracy of various classification techniques. The performance of SVM has been compared with ANN classification techniques. The result highlights the improved accuracy when using ANN as classifier.
