Abstract

This study aims to examine the polyphony in the novel "The Ladyfrom Tel Aviv" written by Raba'i Al-Madhoun based on Mikhail Bakhtin theories in this field of study. The polyphonyis represented in some narrative techniques, such as multiple stories and narrators, different languages and dialects, different literary genres and expressive expressions such as poetry manifested in metanemes and metaphors. The adopted approach in the examination is a combination of intertextuality andpractical, applied, descriptive, analytical andmeta-narrative approach.
