Abstract
The article examines the legal category of "ensuring food security." The reasons of the absence of its solutions at the international and national level. Among the problems of ensuring global food security are considered global financial and economic crisis as well as climate change. As national (Russian) problems mentioned WTO accession, corruption, illegal migration and others.
