Abstract
Among the electroplatings, chromium is most widely used to protect against wear and corrosion of metal. It is used in such industries as automobile engine building, shipbuilding, aerospace, mining and machine building. Among the existing processes for creating wear-resistant galvanic coatings, electrical chrome plating and the technology of depositing a chrome coating with ultra-diamonds are most widely used.
