SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF RURAL FAMILIES IN CHANGING RUSSIAN SOCIETY

The family in the article is considered as the consolidating center, uniting beginning for all members. Situation that the social and psychological unity in family allows to function all rural society is proved. It is shown that social changes in the Russian society couldn't destroy institute of rural family, though shook its bases. It is proved that terri-torial remoteness from the large centers allowed keeping more rational positions of villagers in the relation to mar-riage and family. The conclusion that members of rural family are in bigger dependence from each other is drawn, and it is more strongly subordinated to authority of local government and opinion of rural community.
