Abstract
Basing on phenomenological analysis of pedagogic view of Catherine II of Russia and studied resources, it was determined that educational idea was acquired properly and transformed by Catherine II of Russia in terms of the Russian reality, considered as a guideline to follow and was reflected in certain actions of the empress for reforming education in Russia.
