Abstract
The analysis of philosophical contents of such categories in the General Relativity as gravita-tion and inertia has been performed. Shortcomings of the geometric interpretation of physical interactions have been considered. Possibilities of an alternative approach to phenomena which could not be adequately described in terms of the Newton’s theory are shown. It has been pointed out that the General Relativity is a descriptive system which completes the Newton’s approach.
