INFORMATION SUPPORT OF EUROPEAN STANDARDS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF WATER AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

The implementations of the principles of the European education in Ukraine are analyzed. The European standards and guidelines on quality assurance are characterized. The structure of the concept of quality education is determined. The attention is paid to the introduction of students centered approach in learning and teaching through the creation of information and legal framework to implement the objectives of European education. The implementation in educational process of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering of the mechanism of free choice of subjects is proposed. The free choice of subjects is an effective tool of interdisciplinary, allows students to gain informal experience for students of other specialties, the University will become more attractive and applicants will be able to increase their competitiveness on the labor market.
