Abstract

In the article, that the breeding of brown Swiss cows and black-motley breeds with bulls of black and white Holstein breed did not reduce the bone's strength. Bone, pasterns and hocks of animals Holsteins outperform their purebred peers by weight, length, girth of the diaphysis, as well as the thickness and area of the compacts that provide higher bone strength and can withstand high mechanical loads for small differences in chemical composition. With an increase in blood content of up to 75% in the improving breed, the studied signs tend to decrease somewhat.
