Abstract
In this research work the eatability of watermelons, harvested, but not brought out from the field after harvesting, and being there during the different periods of time, was investigated, the chemical composition depending on the storage periods was defined. The data show that the field harvesting in different terms and storing in the storage differently influence the chemical composition and eatability of fruits and reduction of watermelon yield loss in the south of Kazakhstan
