Abstract
The current position of Russia on the international arena makes it necessary to develop and improve the agricultural sector in the country. ALL of it leads to subsidization of animal industry, grain growing etc. Within the framework of the presented article, the actual problems of the formation and further development of the regional beef market are analyzed on the example of the Irkutsk region.
