Abstract
Formwork is a structural mould formed during construction work to pour concrete or likely material. Once the concrete is poured into the formwork, the concrete is allowed to settle before shuttering. In the 1900's according to history, formwork is done in a traditional way by use of Timber and plywood which is the oldest use of formwork. At this time use of timber formwork is much time consuming for building high rise structures and large structures. The labor cost is cheaper. The timber formwork cannot be reused. As construction face is rapidly going every day, the use of metal formwork is introduce and popular in use from 2003 in junction with wooden formwork. However the type of formwork to be used depends on the type of concrete and the temperature of the pour is important considerations because both affect the pressure exerted
