Customs Policy of Ukraine in the Context of European Integration Relationships

The article presents the role of customs policy in the context of implementation of the European integration course of Ukraine. The importance of combining national and international interests in the implementation of this course is proved. The need for the development of common tariffs, coordinated commodity description and coding systems, along with the creation of a common management system that will facilitate the introduction of unified customs rules, regulations and procedures of foreign economic activity is substantiated. Current problems, the solution of which will be a new catalyst for integration and will strengthen the existing trends, are outlined. Possible results of the improvement of customs relationships, and therefore the European Union integration processes, for the Ukrainian economy are formulated.
