COMPARATIVE ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE OF PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY WORKERS IN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Abstract
The study covers organizational climate for permanent and temporary workers at cresent foundation, a leading construction company. By studying the organizational climate perception, thoughts, feelings and expected behavior of the both temporary and permanent workers can be exhibited. In India, construction stands second-largest industry, behind agriculture business. It represents around 11% of India as GDP. It makes a critical commitment to the national economy and gives work to an expansive number of individuals. The primary objective is to the comparative organizational climate for permanent and temporary workers in Crescent Foundation. The sampling area for the study is crescent foundations India Pvt Ltd, Mandaveli. The sample size is 120 (60 permanent 60 temporary workers). Sampling method suitable for the study is stratified random sampling. Here, the total workers are divided into six strata. From each stratum, 20 workers were taken for the study. The study reveals that most of the factors for both workers (permanent and temporary) on organizational climate are same, hence I conclude the crescent Foundation India Pvt Ltd runs with positive organizational climate.
