The use of comparisons as one of the forms of a language game on material of roman E. M. Remarque "Three Comrades"

The questions of use of the language game as one of the most important aspects of poetic language function are examined. Much attention is given to various aspects of language game in spoken language, namely the use of comparisons, as one of the types of language game on the material of German literature. The examples of using the comparisons of characters and the author of the novel "Three Comrades" are presented and analyzed.
