Abstract
The Indian capital market Deals with medium term and long term funds in. It refers to all facilities and the institutional arrangements for borrowing and lending term funds (medium term and long term).The methodology used is non probability convenience sampling using a structured questionnaire by taking into account the primary and secondary data. The study is aimed to analyze the initiative taken by investor and the awareness factor while making the investment decisions. It is seen that the capital market in India is a little complex but yet it's fast growing. Capital markets in India contribute to a large extend towards building up of the economic growth.
