Abstract
The article deals with topical issues on tilthers improving such as plows and cultivators for stony soils tillage in mountain and foothill territories. General description and brief results from studying samples of tilthers sections with lightweight and cheap spring composite fuses for protection against work tools breakage during the stony soils tillage are given. Analytical dependencies for calculating a spring type fuse made of composites are obtained. Data of analyzing the experimental dependencies of the loading - unloading force of elastic tipped composite rods for the designed plow fuse model with the length between hinges 750...1035mm and rods diameters 16mm, 18mm and 20mm showed that the loading – unloading process of elastic composite rods is accompanied by hysteresis. The unloading force at a rod reverse travel is 18...29% below the loading force. Operation data of the safety system in the process of bypassing obstacles with the work tool are obtained for the sample of the improving plow section.
