SOLUTIONS FOR HIGH FIRE THREAT BUILDINGS

Fire in buildings is one of the major threats. This threat is increasing day by day and has become as social problem in all places. Detailed study, identifying problems and finding solutions are must for building industry professionals. In this paper Fourteen years of fire accident survey from a particular state area is taken, its property losses, lives losses are analyzed and the results are discussed. This results directs the necessity of the fire safety improvement in buildings. The existing Fire factors in buildings which are responsible for fire occurrences, fire, heat, flame, smoke, fumes & toxic spread inside and outside of the building are identified and its relevant solutions are recommended. This paper is concluded with the recommendation of comprehensive application of fire safety measures in buildings to assure fire free buildings to future generation.
