Abstract
Investment decision is one of the most important corporate decisions. It is connected with a long-term time horizon, and a badly focused and inefficient investment can lead the company not only to financial problems, but even to bankruptcy. In addition to investment decisions that solve the question of which investment project to choose, the company also decides which financial resources it will use for financing of the prospective investment. The project may have a great idea, timing, but due to an inappropriate form of financing, its added value will not prove itself to a maximum possible extent. The aim of the article is to survey if the SMEs in the SR are financially constrained in investing.
