Abstract
In the context of the existing scientific literature discourse examines the place and role of the human factor in innovation, its impact on the character and prospects of innovative processes in the socio-cultural development of Ukrainian society, emphasizes the need for a new quality of human capital, that is, people who are prone to innovations - such as would be organic subjects of innovative mentality. All this involves a substantial rethinking of the issues of using existing social, cultural and institutional capacity, its transformation in the context of the requirements of the European market economy, international business. Emphasizes the role of the state in providing national business, especially medium and small, freedom of management, and every possible support for investment business. It is determined that people are the main link in solving the optimal state of existence of the whole system of innovative development of the country. Given the peculiarities of the historical development of Ukraine, the specifics of the human factor in labor psychology and the mentality of the population, it is necessary to correctly identify the strategy of socio-cultural transformations for the further successful innovation development of the country.
