The article substantiates the necessity of conducting an analysis of forecasting the bankruptcy of organizations; The views of various authors on the relationship between the concepts of "insolvency" and "bankruptcy" are explored; an overview of the approaches and models used to diagnose the probability of bankruptcy, their advantages and disadvantages are indicated.
