Abstract

Research subject is the socio-economic factors determining the development of agritourism. Research aim is to study the influence on prospects of development of agro-tourism in various socioeconomic factors. Research methods used are comparison, grouping, correlation and regression analysis, cluster analysis, system approach. Research results. The paper studies the socio-economic factors influencing on the development of agritourism in Belarus; the correlation-regression models are built; the directions of improvement of socioeconomic policy with the aim of agrotourism development are suggested. Branch of applying research results is socio-economic policy of the country. Conclusions. Agritourism in Belarus is in the formative stage. The regulatory framework is weak, economic education small players low, state initiatives are often not implemented. The number of players is large enough. It's not only the small farm and large country tourist complexes, recreation centers, historical and cultural sites, country museums, environmental agencies. Most of the players in this business is played every man for himself. Trends of cooperation in a tourist destination and clusters are just starting to appear. Based on the stochastic analysis was presented for a regression model which revealed that the number of homesteads affected by the following factors: the population's consumption of alcohol, possession of cars, the number of cellular subscribers.
