Abstract
Skill development became a part of education institutions. The state and central government now concentrating on the skills required to develop the unemployed and educated youth to be placed in corporate and jobs. Engineering outgoing students only 10 to 20% are getting placements others not? Engineering colleges has to improve the skills of the students by using several techniques and models. This article focus on skills required and expectations of civil engineering students and it gives a model to develop the skills of engineering students in Andhra Pradesh
